Our specialty and our most popular outing activity is clay target shooting. The popularity of clay target shooting is increasing all over the country, with women and children being the fastest growing demographic. If you have yet to give it a shot, you will find that it is an addictive and fun sport that is suitable for shooters of all skill levels.

Sporting clays courses are designed to simulate the hunting of ducks, pheasants, other upland birds, and even rabbits. Since there is no set season and it can be shot at any time, many hunters shoot sporting clays to further their wing-shooting skills during the off-season. Targets may be thrown from literally any angle or distance, and six different sizes of clay targets are used to further give the shooter an exciting experience.

A typical clay target shooting outing at McMiller Sports Center would starts with a catered lunch followed by a round of clays.  We can accommodate just about any timeline and are an open vendor facility.

Sporting Clays + Range Time + 3D Archery Package- $105 + tax

All of our sporting clays outings and fundraisers plus range time include the following at no additional charge:

• Event planner to assist you

• Clay targets + Paper targets 

• 4-seater golf cart rental for each group (up to 20 total carts)

• Shotgun rentals (while supplies last), eye protection, ear protection, and chamber flags

• 2 boxes of shotgun ammunition per shooter

• Rifle & Pistol rentals (while supplies last) (ammunition is not included) 

• On-course refreshments and snacks

• Use of covered pavilions

• Bagged ice, if needed

• Scorecards with clipboards
