The Range's at McMiller Sports Center feature over 150 shooting lanes, with a maximum range of up to 300 yards for long guns and 25 yards for handguns. Our 50-yard range offers 6 benches for steel target plinking, the first of it's kind in south east Wisconsin.

*Please Note: We do NOT allow any ammunition .50 BMG or larger. ONLY .22 LONG RIFLE on the plinking range.

 

McMiller Sports Center is Wisconsin's largest shooting facility, offering a truly unique shooting destination for rifles, pistols, sporting clays, novice clays, five-stand and 3D archery all at the same facility.

From law enforcement; annual club members, guests, and the general public McMiller truly offers a wide diverse center for all.

PLINKING RANGE
STEEL TARGET PLINKING - 50 YARD RANGE - 6 BENCHES - OVER 40 TARGETS - .22 LONG RIFLE ONLY

The first of its kind in Southeast Wisconsin. McMiller offers .22 Long Rifle plinking from 10 yards all the way out to 50 yards. Located on our 50-yard range with over 40 different targets and elements to shoot at, you will not be bored entertaining yourself with the continuous ping against the steel. 

This range is designed for all ages to enjoy.  .22 long rifles. Larger caliber rifles and or pistols are not allowed and damage the targets.

RANGE RULES
25 YARD RANGE - 50 YARD RANGE - 100 YARD RANGE - 200 YARD RANGE - 300 YARD RANGE - STEEL TARGET PLINKING 

  • All shooters must check in with the Range Safety Officer before entering the range

  • All firearms are to be brought onto the range in a case

  • Always case and remove firearms from case on top of the shooting benches and always do so with the muzzle down range

  • Rate of fire may not exceed one shot per second

  • No more than two firearms on a bench at any given time

  • Eye and ear protection is required at all times while on the range

  • No caliber .50 BMG or larger may be used at the range

  • No tracer rounds/shotgun use (excluding slugs) allowed

  • Chamber flags are required for every firearm on the bench during ceasefires

  • No handling of firearms / ammunition / magazines during ceasefires

  • Must be 16 to shoot a pistol (excluding .22 long rifle on the plinking range ONLY)
