McMiller COVID-19 Protocols & Guidelines

We are open for clay target, rifle, and pistol shooting. Our hours going forward until further notice will be Wednesday-Sunday 9:00 am- 4:00 pm. Due to the ongoing pandemic, we have instituted several precautionary policies to ensure a safe environment for our staff and guests.

Prior to coming out, please read the full list of protocols that we must adhere to. These changes were necessary to attain the go-ahead from the DNR to reopen. The protocols are as follows:

  1. While at McMiller Sports Center (MSC), please maintain a social distance of 6 feet between yourself and anyone that is not a member of your household.

  2. No spectators will be allowed on the rifle or pistol ranges.

  3. Groups for clay shooting will be limited to 5 people. Please social distance throughout the course and do not encroach on other groups.

  4. Customers are allowed in the lodge to purchase range passes and merchandise, and use the restroom facilities.  In order for the lodge to remain open, we ask that customers please head outside once business inside the lodge is finished. We also ask that customers please wear a mask inside the lodge.

  5. We will have hand sanitizer and disinfectant wipes available on each range for customer and employee use. We will be sanitizing touch points throughout the day. There will be outdoor hand washing stations for you to use before you leave the premises and we strongly recommend that you use them.

  6. You you are welcome to bring whatever you deem necessary to protect yourself, your family, and your guests while at MSC. Additionally, we will not be able to provide staple guns because of sanitary issues. Please bring your own. A regular home stapler will suffice. If you do not have a stapler, we have binder clips available for sale in the lodge.

We are excited to be open again and want to thank everyone for their patience and anticipated cooperation during this transition back to normal operating procedure. It’s important that our customers adhere to the new guidelines we’ve negotiated with the DNR to enable the range to remain open. You are participating in an outdoor activity at your own risk during the Covid-19 Pandemic. We look forward to seeing you at the range!
